Tourist Information

Also as tourist info, the reception is ready to help you with any question. The direct location on the Mullerthal Trail allows many hiking opportunities in the region and unique experiences. As an excellent partner of the Mullerthal Trail and the Nature and Geopark we are happy to inform you about different possibilities.

Of course, you can also buy various souvenirs as well as regional products, such as the Cassero – a liqueur produced in the Renaissance castle of Beaufort, at our Tourist Info.

Local hiking maps as well as regional hiking maps of the Mullerthal Trail are also available from us.

And now newly arrived: Our Visit Beaufort Buffs! Versatile in use, whether as a scarf or even a mask.

Have a look at our shop. We are looking forward to your visit!

Surroundings

In the region there are many great recreational opportunities for young and old. From castles to museums to sporting activities, there is everything. Within walking distance of the campsite is a pharmacy, supermarket, bakery and several restaurants.

Especially impressive is the castle of Beaufort. The medieval castle was built in four construction periods between 1050 and 1650 and is now a listed monument. Fortunately, the Renaissance castle has never suffered any damage since it was built and, except for some additions and alterations over the centuries, has remained essentially unchanged for over 360 years.
